5-Year Guarantee

At Inselberg, every product begins its journey with a focus on precision, performance, and durability. Our development process starts with close collaboration with climbers, mountaineers, and backcountry professionals to identify real-world needs. Materials are handpicked for their resilience and functionality, ensuring every piece of gear is prepared for the harshest conditions.

Each product undergoes extensive field testing in extreme environments, from alpine peaks to rugged crags. Simultaneously, we subject our designs to rigorous laboratory tests for abrasion resistance, waterproofing, and thermal efficiency. This combination of real-world feedback and technical assessments allows us to refine each design, ensuring it meets the exacting standards required for technical pursuits.

The Inselberg 5-Year Guarantee is a testament to this commitment to quality. It provides comprehensive coverage for defects in materials and workmanship, so you can focus on your goals with confidence in your gear.

Inselberg’s Commitment to Excellence
  • Our Products are crafted with premium materials and meticulous attention to detail. Each item undergoes stringent testing to ensure it can withstand the rigors of extreme environments. Whether you’re navigating alpine routes, scaling sheer rock faces, or venturing into the backcountry, Inselberg gear is built for reliability and performance. This commitment to quality is the foundation of the 5-Year Guarantee.
What the Inselberg 5-Year Guarantee Covers
  • The guarantee applies to defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Specifically, it includes:
  1. Material Failures: Issues such as fabric tears, malfunctioning zippers, hardware breaks, or delamination that impact product performance.
  2. Workmanship Errors: Flaws originating during production, including uneven stitching, misaligned seams, or adhesive failures.
  3. Performance Issues: Cases where the product fails to function as intended under normal and appropriate usage conditions.
  • This guarantee reflects the confidence we have in our design and manufacturing processes, ensuring your gear performs to the standards it was built for.
What the Guarantee Does Not Cover
  • While comprehensive, the Inselberg 5-Year Guarantee does not cover:
  1. Normal Wear and Tear: Damage from prolonged use, such as abrasions, fading, or fabric pilling, which are expected over time.
  2. Misuse or Neglect: Damage caused by improper care, accidents, or use beyond the intended purpose of the product.
  3. Unauthorized Modifications: Repairs or alterations made by third parties not authorized by Inselberg.
  4. Loss or Theft: The guarantee does not extend to items that are lost or stolen.
Making a Warranty Claim
  • Starting a warranty claim is simple. Begin by completing the Warranty Claim Form. Ensure you include the following information:
  1. Product Number: This can be found on the washing abel inside your item. It helps us identify the exact version of your product and the materials used in its construction.
  2. Proof of Purchase: A receipt, order confirmation email, or other documentation to verify your warranty eligibility.
  3. Detailed Description: A clear explanation of the issue you’re experiencing.
  4. Photographs: Images of the item, especially the area with the issue, to help us evaluate your claim.
  • Once your claim is submitted, our team will review it within 3-5 business days. If additional information or inspection is required, we will contact you promptly. For valid claims, resolution—either repair or replacement—will typically be completed within 7-14 business days from the time we receive your item.

How to Care for Your Gear
  • Proper maintenance is key to ensuring the longevity and performance of your Inselberg gear. Care requirements may vary for different products. Always follow the specific instructions provided on the washing label included with your item. As a general guide:
  1. Cleaning: Use cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemicals.
  2. Drying: Air-dry whenever possible. For insulated items, low-heat tumble drying with tennis balls can help restore loft.
  3. Storage: Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Avoid prolonged compression of insulated products.
  4. Inspection: Regularly check for wear or damage, such as frayed seams or stuck zippers, and address them promptly.
